Overview

The ATAUTO_DRAW_CIRCUIT_WIREPATH command draws wirepath segments for all circuits in the active drawing. This comprehensive command offers options for handling existing segments and controlling the routing process.

Steps

  1. Type ATAUTO_DRAW_CIRCUIT_WIREPATH in the AutoCAD command line
  2. The command offers several options:
    • Delete existing segments or reuse them
    • Set maximum time for the routing algorithm
    • Reroute problematic paths that couldn't be calculated
  3. FireCAD processes each circuit and draws wirepath segments
  4. Progress is displayed during the operation

Options

Option Description
Delete segments Remove all existing segments before redrawing
Reuse segments Keep existing segments and only draw missing paths
Max time Set a time limit for the routing algorithm per circuit
Reroute Attempt to fix circuits that failed initial routing

Tips

  • This can take significant time on drawings with many circuits
  • Use ATAUTO_DRAW_ACTIVE_WIREPATH for a single circuit instead
  • After drawing, review the routing and make manual adjustments as needed
