ATAUTO_DRAW_SHARED_WIREPATH |
Draw shared wirepaths that cross-connect between circuit types |
Ribbon: FireCAD > Draw > Draw Shared Wirepath
Prerequisites
- A FireCAD project must be open
- The active drawing must be part of the project
Overview
The ATAUTO_DRAW_SHARED_WIREPATH command draws wirepath segments that can span across different circuit types. Unlike the standard wirepath drawing commands that route within a single circuit, shared wirepaths handle scenarios where multiple circuit types share physical conduit or cable pathways.
Steps
- Type
ATAUTO_DRAW_SHARED_WIREPATHin the AutoCAD command line - FireCAD calculates cross-type routing paths
- Shared wirepath segments are created in the drawing
When to Use
- When multiple circuit types (e.g., SLC and NAC) share the same conduit run
- When devices on different circuits are physically routed through shared pathways
- For complex routing scenarios where standard per-circuit routing is insufficient
