ATREROUTE_WIREPATHS |
Re-route all wirepaths in the active drawing |
Ribbon: FireCAD > Draw > Reroute Wirepaths
Prerequisites
- A FireCAD project must be open
Overview
The ATREROUTE_WIREPATHS command recalculates and redraws all wirepath routes in the active drawing. This is useful when device positions have changed and the existing wirepath routing is no longer optimal.
Steps
- Type
ATREROUTE_WIREPATHSin the AutoCAD command line - FireCAD recalculates all wirepath routes
- A full label refresh runs automatically (since rerouting modifies segment data in the database)
When to Use
- After moving devices to new positions in the drawing
- When wirepath routing has become tangled or suboptimal
- After restoring a missing drawing to recalculate routes
Tips
- This command performs a full cache reload after rerouting because segment data is modified in the database
- For large drawings, this operation may take some time
- If only specific circuits need rerouting, consider using
ATAUTO_DRAW_ACTIVE_WIREPATHfor individual circuits instead
