ATPROJECT_CIRCUITS_EDITOR |
Open the Project Circuits Editor dialog |
Prerequisites
- A FireCAD project must be open
- The active drawing must be part of the project
Overview
The ATPROJECT_CIRCUITS_EDITOR command opens a comprehensive dialog for managing all circuit properties, limits, and configurations in your project. This is the primary interface for circuit-level configuration beyond simple connect/disconnect operations.
Steps
- Type
ATPROJECT_CIRCUITS_EDITORin the AutoCAD command line - The Project Circuits Editor dialog opens
- View and modify circuit configurations:
- Circuit names and descriptions
- Current limits and thresholds
- Circuit template assignments
- Reporting flags (include in reports, etc.)
- Circuit properties and settings
- Click OK to apply changes, or Cancel to discard
- If changes were applied:
- Device labels are updated on the active drawing
- Wirepath labels are updated on the active drawing
What You Can Configure
The Project Circuits Editor provides access to circuit properties that are not easily accessible through other commands, including:
- Current limits — Maximum standby and alarm current for the circuit
- Current thresholds — Warning thresholds (e.g., 80% of limit)
- Report inclusion — Which reports should include this circuit
- Circuit template — Which template defines the circuit's behavior
- Circuit name and description — Display names used in labels and reports
Tips
- Changes made here are reflected in Design Assistant validation (current limit checks, report fingerprinting)
- After making changes, the Design Assistant may flag reports as out-of-date if circuit data has changed
- Use this editor for bulk circuit configuration rather than editing circuits one at a time
