Overview
The ATVALIDATE_SELECTION command runs validation on only the selected devices and wirepath segments, then updates their labels. This is a lightweight alternative to ATVALIDATE when you only need to check specific elements.
Steps
- Type
ATVALIDATE_SELECTIONin the AutoCAD command line - Select the devices and/or wirepath segments to validate
- Press Enter to confirm
- FireCAD validates the selected elements
- Labels update for the validated selection
When to Use
- After making changes to specific devices
- When you need a quick validation of a few elements without processing the entire drawing
- For troubleshooting issues with specific devices
