Overview
The ATVALIDATE_SEGMENTS command validates segment data integrity and updates wirepath labels. Unlike ATVALIDATE, this command focuses specifically on segments and does not update device labels.
Steps
- Type
ATVALIDATE_SEGMENTSin the AutoCAD command line - FireCAD validates all segments in the active drawing
- Wirepath labels update to reflect the validated data
When to Use
- After routing or rerouting wirepaths
- When wirepath labels appear incorrect
- When segment data needs to be validated without touching device data
Tips
- Faster than
ATVALIDATEwhen you only need segment validation - Device labels are not affected by this command
