Deleting All Segments

Command

Command Description
ATDELETE_ALL_SEGMENTS Delete all wirepath segments from the active drawing

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open

Overview

Erases all wirepath segment entities from the active drawing and deletes their corresponding database records. This is a destructive operation that requires confirmation.

Steps

  1. Type ATDELETE_ALL_SEGMENTS in the AutoCAD command line
  2. A confirmation prompt appears
  3. Confirm to proceed
  4. All segment entities are erased from the drawing
  5. All segment database records for the drawing are deleted

Important Notes

  • This operation is destructive — all wirepath segments and their data are permanently removed
  • Circuit connections remain intact; only the physical wirepath geometry is removed
  • After deletion, you would need to redraw wirepaths using ATAUTO_DRAW_CIRCUIT_WIREPATH

When to Use

  • Starting fresh with wirepath routing
  • When segment data has become severely corrupted
  • Before reimporting or recreating all wirepaths
