Creating a Riser

ATRISER Open the riser diagram creation dialog

Ribbon: FireCAD > Riser > Create Riser Diagram

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open

Overview

Opens the riser diagram creation dialog, which generates a hierarchical visualization of circuit connections across floors or building levels. Riser diagrams show the vertical routing of circuits and the devices at each level.

Steps

  1. Type ATRISER in the AutoCAD command line
  2. The Riser Options dialog opens
  3. Configure riser settings:
    • Select circuits and panels to include
    • Set column assignments
    • Configure display options
  4. Generate the riser diagram
  5. The diagram is placed in the drawing

Tips

  • Device riser column assignments (ATSET_RISER_COLUMN) and elevations (ATSET_ELEVATIONS) determine device placement in the diagram
  • Riser text height and block scale are configured in Options & Configuration
  • The riser layer is configurable in Options under the Layers tab
