ATFORMAT_DEVICE_LABELS Open the device label formatting dialog for selected devices

Ribbon: FireCAD > Attributes > Format Device Labels

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open

Overview

The ATFORMAT_DEVICE_LABELS command opens a dialog for configuring how device labels are displayed for selected devices. You can control attribute visibility, text properties, and label content.

Steps

  1. Type ATFORMAT_DEVICE_LABELS in the AutoCAD command line
  2. Select the devices to format (or pre-select them)
  3. The Format Device Labels dialog opens
  4. Configure label display options
  5. Click OK to apply
  6. Device labels update for the selected devices

Tips

  • Changes apply only to the selected devices, not the entire drawing
  • The cache is invalidated after changes to ensure labels regenerate correctly
