ATUPDATE_ALL_CIRCUIT_PATHS |
Recalculate wirepath labels for all circuits |
Ribbon: FireCAD > Wirepath > Update All Wire Labels
Prerequisites
- A FireCAD project must be open
Overview
The ATUPDATE_ALL_CIRCUIT_PATHS command recalculates wirepath labels for all circuits in the active drawing using the shortest-path algorithm. It validates segments and devices, purges any orphaned records, and then updates all wirepath labels.
Steps
- Type
ATUPDATE_ALL_CIRCUIT_PATHSin the AutoCAD command line - FireCAD validates all segments and devices
- Orphaned records are purged
- Wirepath labels are recalculated for all circuits
- The drawing updates with new labels
When to Use
- After making significant changes to multiple circuits
- When wirepath labels appear incorrect or out of sync
- As a comprehensive refresh of all circuit path calculations
Tips
- For updating a single circuit's paths, use
ATUPDATE_CIRCUIT_PATHSinstead - This performs more work than
ATREFRESH_LABELS— it recalculates paths, not just regenerates labels
