Updating Specific Circuit Paths

Command

Command Description
ATUPDATE_CIRCUIT_PATHS Recalculate wirepath labels for the active circuit

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open
  • An active circuit must be selected

Overview

The ATUPDATE_CIRCUIT_PATHS command recalculates wirepath labels for the currently active circuit only. This is a targeted version of ATUPDATE_ALL_CIRCUIT_PATHS that processes a single circuit.

Steps

  1. Select the target circuit in the Circuits palette
  2. Type ATUPDATE_CIRCUIT_PATHS in the AutoCAD command line
  3. FireCAD validates and recalculates the path labels for the active circuit
  4. The drawing updates with new labels

Tips

  • Faster than updating all circuits when you only need to fix one
  • Use ATUPDATE_ALL_CIRCUIT_PATHS when multiple circuits need updating
