ATSET_LOCATION Set the location property on selected devices

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open

Overview

The ATSET_LOCATION command sets the physical location description for selected devices. Location information appears in device labels, schedules, and inspection reports.

Steps

  1. Type ATSET_LOCATION in the AutoCAD command line
  2. Select one or more devices
  3. The location-specific properties dialog opens
  4. Enter the location information
  5. Click OK to apply

Tips

  • Location values are used in device schedule reports and inspection forms
  • Setting consistent location descriptions improves report readability
