Command Description
ATATT_VISIBILITY Open the Attribute Visibility Editor for selected devices

Ribbon: FireCAD > Attributes > Set Property Visibility

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open
  • One or more devices must be selected in the drawing

Overview

The Attribute Visibility Editor provides a grid-based interface for toggling the visibility of individual AutoCAD attributes on device block references. Each attribute can be shown or hidden without modifying the underlying data.

Layout

A data grid displaying all attributes for the selected devices:

Column Description
Attribute Tag The tag name of the AutoCAD attribute
Visible Checkbox to toggle visibility on/off

Steps

  1. Select one or more devices in the drawing
  2. Type ATATT_VISIBILITY in the AutoCAD command line
  3. The editor opens showing all attributes for the selected devices
  4. Check or uncheck the Visible column for each attribute
  5. Click Apply to update visibility in the drawing

Apply Save visibility settings and update the drawing
Cancel Close without changes

Tips

  • This is useful for hiding informational attributes that clutter the drawing without deleting their data
  • Visibility changes are immediate and affect the AutoCAD drawing directly
  • To show or hide attributes in bulk across many devices, consider using the Format Device Labels dialog instead
