Command Description
ATSET_PANEL_NAME Set the panel name property on a selected device

Ribbon: FireCAD > Circuits > Set Device Name

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open

Overview

The ATSET_PANEL_NAME command opens the Set Device Information dialog configured for panel name entry. This assigns or changes the panel designation (e.g., "FA-1", "FA-2") for the selected device.

Steps

  1. Type ATSET_PANEL_NAME in the AutoCAD command line
  2. Select the target device
  3. The Set Device Information dialog opens
  4. Enter the panel name
  5. Click OK to apply

  • Panel names appear in device labels and circuit reports
  • Consistent panel naming helps with report organization and Design Assistant validation
