Overview
The ATRELOCATE_CIRCUIT command opens a dialog-based interface for relocating circuits between devices. Unlike ATRELOCATE (which moves all circuits from one device to another via command-line prompts), this command provides a visual interface where you can select specific circuits and target devices.
Steps
- Type
ATRELOCATE_CIRCUITin the AutoCAD command line - The Relocate Circuit dialog opens
- Select the circuit(s) you want to relocate
- Select the destination device
- Click OK to apply the relocation
- Device and wirepath labels are updated automatically
When to Use
- You need to move specific circuits (not all circuits from a device)
- You want a visual overview of circuit assignments before making changes
- You're reorganizing circuits across multiple devices in the project
Tips
- This command provides more granular control than
ATRELOCATE - Labels are automatically refreshed after the operation completes
- The dialog shows the current circuit-to-device assignments for easy reference
