ATEXATTDATATOEXCEL_BYBLOCK Export all attributes of a selected block type to Excel
ATEXATTDATATOCSV_BYBLOCK Export all attributes of a selected block type to CSV
ATEXATTDATATOEXCEL_BYSEL Export attributes for all selected objects to Excel
ATEXATTDATATOCSV_BYSEL Export attributes for all selected objects to CSV

Prerequisites

  • A drawing must be open

Overview

These commands export block attribute data to Excel or CSV files. Different variants let you export by selection, by block type, or for all selected objects.

Export Variants

By Selection (Standard)

  • ATEXATTDATATOEXCEL / ATEXATTDATATOCSV
  • Select specific blocks, then export their attributes

By Block Type

  • ATEXATTDATATOEXCEL_BYBLOCK / ATEXATTDATATOCSV_BYBLOCK
  • Select one block, then all blocks of that type are exported

By Selection (All)

  • ATEXATTDATATOEXCEL_BYSEL / ATEXATTDATATOCSV_BYSEL
  • Export attributes for all currently selected objects

Tips

  • Exported data can be edited in Excel and re-imported with ATIMPORTATTRIBUTEDATA
  • CSV format is useful for data processing workflows
