ATIMPORTATTRIBUTEDATA Import attribute data from Excel or CSV

Ribbon: FireCAD > Attributes > Import Title Block Attributes

Prerequisites

  • A drawing must be open

Overview

Imports attribute data from an Excel or CSV file and applies the values to matching block references in the drawing. Use exported attribute data (from ATEXATTDATATOEXCEL or similar commands) as the import template.

Steps

  1. Type ATIMPORTATTRIBUTEDATA in the AutoCAD command line
  2. Select the Excel or CSV file to import
  3. Attribute values are applied to matching blocks in the drawing

Tips

  • Blocks are matched by handle or block name — ensure the import file references the correct blocks
  • Always export first to get the correct file format and block references
