• A FireCAD project must be open

Overview

FireCAD provides enhanced polyline drawing tools that automatically trim and fillet polylines at device block boundaries.

ATPOLY — Interactive Polyline

1. Type ATPOLY in the AutoCAD command line
2. Click to place vertices along the desired path
3. The polyline automatically trims at device block boundaries
4. Fillet radius is applied at corners (configurable in Options under Tools: "ATPoly Fillet Radius")
5. Press Enter or Escape to finish

ATQUICK_POLY — Quick Polyline

1. Type ATQUICK_POLY in the AutoCAD command line
2. Select the starting device
3. Select the ending device
4. An orthogonal polyline is automatically created between the two devices with 4 vertices and filleted corners

Tips

• ATQUICK_POLY is ideal for fast routing between two adjacent devices
• ATPOLY gives you full control over the routing path with automatic device trimming
• The fillet radius can be configured in Options & Configuration
