Prerequisites
- A FireCAD project must be open
- Conduit types must be defined in the project database
Overview
These commands manage conduit type assignments on wirepath segments. Conduit types define the physical conduit specifications (size, material, type) used for wire routing, which affects conduit fill calculations and conduit fill schedule reports.
Setting Conduit Type
- Type
ATSET_CONDUIT_TYPEin the AutoCAD command line - Select one or more wirepath segments in the drawing
- The Conduit Selection dialog opens
- Select the conduit type to assign
- Click OK to apply
- Wirepath labels update to reflect the conduit assignment
Clearing Conduit Type
- Type
ATCLEAR_CONDUIT_TYPEin the AutoCAD command line - Select one or more wirepath segments
- Press Enter to confirm
- The conduit type is removed from the selected segments
- Wirepath labels update
Tips
- Conduit types affect conduit fill percentage calculations
- Use the Conduit Fill Schedule report to verify fill percentages after assignment
- Segments without a conduit type assignment will not appear in conduit fill reports
