Command Description
ATREFRESH_BLOCK_IMAGES Refresh block preview thumbnails in the current drawing

Ribbon: FireCAD > Validation > Update Cached Block Images

Prerequisites

  • A FireCAD project must be open

Overview

The ATREFRESH_BLOCK_IMAGES command regenerates the preview thumbnails for all block definitions in the current drawing. These thumbnails are used in the Device Palette and other UI elements that show block previews.

Steps

  1. Type ATREFRESH_BLOCK_IMAGES in the AutoCAD command line
  2. Block preview images are regenerated automatically

When to Use

  • Block thumbnails appear blank or outdated in the Device Palette
  • After modifying block definitions, the previews don't reflect the changes
  • After importing new blocks into the project
