Overview
The FireCAD Palette occasionally goes missing from the interface. The steps below reset FireCAD's user configuration so the palette can be brought back. This process is the same whether you are using the FireCAD standalone or the AutoCAD add-in version.
The example below uses FireCAD 2024. For other versions, substitute the correct version folder name when navigating (for example, FireCAD 2026).
Step 1: Open the User AppData Folder
Navigate to your Windows user folder on the C drive:
If the AppData folder is not visible, show hidden items first:
Open the AppData folder:
Step 2: Delete the FireCAD Folder from AppData\Local
Open the Local folder inside AppData:
Locate the folder matching your installed FireCAD version:
Delete that folder:
Step 3: Delete the FireCAD Folder from AppData\Roaming
Navigate back to AppData and open the Roaming folder. Locate and delete the matching FireCAD version folder there as well:
Step 4: Reopen the Palette
Launch FireCAD, then make the palette reappear by either:
- Selecting Open Project Palette from the View panel on the FireCAD Tools ribbon, or
- Typing
ATSHOWon the command line
If the FireCAD Tools Ribbon Is Missing
If the FireCAD Tools ribbon itself is not visible, run the AutoCAD MENU command:
Load the correct CUIX file based on your version:

CGFCAD
xx.CUIX — wherexxis the FireCAD year (for example,CGFCAD26.CUIXfor FireCAD 2026) - ACAD.CUIX — AutoCAD add-in version
