FACP Randomly Removes Circuits/Panel Disappears
I have run into this a few times and was wondering if anyone else is running into this issue as well. I am working on a project for a 3 story building. Each story is it's own .DWG file. I place my FACP Assembly, adjust the circuits to my liking, and connect/address all SLC, Notification, RUI Circuits. When I start to go through and set "Device Columns" and "Device Elevations" for the Riser, there is an extra long loading screen then all of my devices' labels are removed. On closer inspection it shows that the devices are no longer connected to a circuit. When I go into the "Project Circuit Editor", no Circuits for the FACP show up in the list. When I go to the "Assembly Editor" of the FACP all of the internal cards that give the circuits are gone, and even when adding them back to the FACP they still do not show up in the "Project Circuit Editor". I delete the FACP, "Purge Deleted Entities", add a new FACP to the drawing, and it will no longer let me use the name I had for the original FACP. All devices can be connected to a new circuit on a new FACP, But it requires me to redo the entire connecting/addressing process. This is just my most current example, but it has happened before and every time what i have been doing before it happened is random. Its happened while validating devices, creating wire paths, setting riser columns, pretty much anywhere a loading screen pops up. Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else experienced this?
TLDR: FACP randomly removes all Circuits/Zone cards from assembly and even when deleted and purged its name cannot be used as if it still exits in any of the drawings even though it does not. All devices added can be connected to new circuits from a different FACP but that requires a full redo of the connection/addressing process. Help.
