Prerequisites
- A FireCAD project must be open
Overview
Wirepath length displays the calculated distance (in drawing units) for each wirepath segment. This information is used for wire quantity estimation and voltage drop calculations.
Showing Wirepath Length
- Type
ATSHOW_WIREPATH_LENGTHin the AutoCAD command line - Select one or more segments
- Press Enter
- Length values appear on the selected segments
Hiding Wirepath Length
- Type
ATHIDE_WIREPATH_LENGTHin the AutoCAD command line - Select one or more segments
- Press Enter
- Length values are hidden
Tips
- Wire length calculations include the Additional Wire Length Factor configured in Options
- Length precision (decimal places) is controlled in Options under the Reports tab
